Abhishek expressed satisfaction with his team's performance but felt they could have scored even more runs, especially after a strong PowerPlay.

"We targeted more runs after the first six overs," Abhishek said. "Travis did really well, and I just followed him."

Abhishek attributes his team's success to a straightforward message from the coaching staff and captain: "Go and express yourself."

"The message was pretty easy: go and express yourself," Abhishek explained. "As a top-order batter, you just have to get confidence from your captain and coach, and we got it from day one."

Batting with Travis Head has been a pleasure for Abhishek, allowing him to play freely without pressure.

"[Batting with Travis] has always been a pleasure since day 1," Abhishek said. "There's no pressure from the other end, so I can just go out and express myself."

Abhishek admires Travis Head's batting style and considers himself fortunate to have him as a teammate.

"I've been telling him that I've been a big fan of his since day 1," Abhishek shared. "I have been following him for the last one year, and we're lucky he's in our team."

Abhishek attributes his success to having a clear plan and extensive preparation leading up to IPL 2024.

"I had a very clear plan in my head before this IPL," Abhishek said. "The hard work that I have put before this tournament and even in the Syed Mushtaq Trophy is helping me a lot."

Abhishek emphasizes the importance of planning and preparation, especially when facing key bowlers from the opposition team.

"I try to plan really well for the spinners and the main bowlers of the other team," Abhishek explained. "I have been watching his videos. I try to play similar bowlers a day before, net bowlers and local bowlers, and that helps me a lot."

Abhishek remains focused on his goals and aims to make the most of every opportunity he gets to play.

"My goal is to play whatever I am gonna get to play, I am gonna concentrate and focus on that," Abhishek affirmed.
